  • DREAMCAKES is not liable for details not supplied above.
  • DREAMCAKES do not trade on Sundays.
  • DREAMCAKES do our utmost to deliver cakes exactly as specified. However, should there be mistakes; please report such on delivery/collection, as no repairs/correction will be made thereafter. ALSO note if you send us a picture to duplicate a cake it will not be 100% the same as it might be different bakers or a different staff member that has done the cake and everything is done by hand and it is not possible to look exactly the same at all times but we will try to make it as close as possible. Also bear in mind that as we try out new techniques/ methods, this will influence the end results. e. Names might not be done in the same way. Dreamcakes will not be held liable thereafter if this is not done.
  • PLEASE ENSURE ORDER DETAILS ARE SENT NO LATER THAN 1 WEEK, BEFORE ORDER IS DUE. ( but always check with us if we still have space available if you wish to order late)
  • As cakes are specialised items, we have a “NO REFUND” policy.
  • Trading times: Monday – Friday 9am-5 pm, Saturday 8-12
  • Collections times for weekend orders: Fridays from 12:00pm-17:00pm / Saturdays from 8:00am-12:00pm
  • (Orders not collected in time will result in loss of deposit or an additional charge of R100)

  • Please note the cakes have a two day shelf life only, if any complaints cakes need to be returned within 24 to 48 hours of collection.
  • Please note the product may contain certain allergens ( ie: eggs), please ask us if you are not sure.
  • NB! SPECIALIZED IMAGES/ ARTWORK FOR CUPCAKES NEED TO BE SUPPLIED BY CUSTOMER PLEASE. IE. LOGO’S, REDESIGNED LOGO’S MADE PERSONISED, ECT.

  • DREAMCAKES NEEDS TO STRESS: DUE TO THE SMALL PROFIT MARGIN WE MAKE ON OUR PRODUCTS ANY DAMAGES WHILE OUT ON DELIVERY or MISTAKES (IE. PERHAPS A AGE WE MIGHT GET WRONG.) WE CAN NOT COME BACK TO COLLECT THE ORDER TO HAVE IT REPAIRED AND HAVE IT REDELIVERED.
  • YOU WILL HAVE TO BRING THE PRODUCT BACK TO US TO OUR PREMISES AND WE WILL GADLY REPAIR IT TO YOUR SATISFACTION OR WE WILL COMPENSATE. 
  • PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST DELIVERY IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THESE TERMS
  • Deliveries are made by an independent company, thus, DREAMCAKES are not liable for any damages during transport.
  • Delivery of cakes is only arranged for orders R400 and above (this amount excludes delivery fee). PLEASE NOTE DELIVERY IS NOT FREE OF CHARGE
  • Deliveries are charged for at our discretion and according to distance.
  • Please note ALL outstanding monies should be settled in full before delivery can take place. They do not deal with cash at all.
  • As an independent company in used for deliveries, specific delivery times cannot be confirmed.
  • Deliveries can only be made according to availability of the independent company.
  • Deliveries cannot be arranged at short notice.
  • Delivery company is also not prepared to meet at Malls , please provide us with specific address.
  • Please note these areas are no longer serviced by our delivery company : Soweto, Ennerdale, Vosloorus, Lenasia, Alexander, Tokoza, Katlehong, Centurium,   (please check with us with any other area)

WHEN TRANSPORTING YOUR CAKE:

  • Please remember to transport the cake on a flat surface.
  • Do not put the cake on the back/ front seat or your lap, especially with 2 or more tiers. (this will destabilize the stilts used in the tiers and cause the cake to collapse. )

 

PAYMENT DETAILS

 

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the order.
  • For delivery, 100% payment is required upfront.
  • For collection, balance to be settled at time of collection.
  • Please note that delivery/collection can only take place once full payment has been received.
  • PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT HAVE CARD FACILITIES
  • EFTs only acceptable when paid in advance. Proof of payment to be faxed to 0866083290 or emailed to info@dreamcakes.co.za
  •  
  • Orders cancelled less than 48 hours before delivery/collection will be charged in full.
  • Kindly quote order number as reference on EFT payments.
  • Orders not paid for, will be destroyed.
  • We do not accept cheques, e-wallets or Checkers payments.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

 

  • The cake should be stored in a cool place, but never in the fridge as this will result in the cake melting.
  • Cupcakes: we supply the cupcakes in a airtight container which keeps the cupcake fresh, leaving the cupcake exposed for any amount of time will dry the cupcake out, so please try and keep it in the container for as long as possible.
  • The decorations are often Fondant and this we supply separately unless the customer requests us to add onto the cupcake. We will advise when it is not a safe/ good idea to do so however. ( This is to maintain the quality standard of the cupcake)
  • We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after cake has been collected. There will be a fee for repair once the cake has been damaged.  You can contact Dreamcakes to have the cake repaired and we will assist, if available, during trading hours.
  • If you or your representatives decide to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Dreamcakes premises.
  • Please note cakes have a shelf life of 2 days
  • Direct bright light, can and will fade the colours.
  • The cake should NEVER be left in the sun or be exposed to direct heat, i.e. left in the boot for too long. This will result in the following:
    • The cake will sweat on the inside and will be sour the following day due to fermenting.
    • The cake will lose form when the butter icing melts.

Complaints need to be received in no less than 48 hours after purchase. If any complaints cakes need to be returned within 24 to 48 hours of collection, please note we do not collect
